The 1652's
This one’s called “The 1652’s” because I started painting them in 1652 and just now finished and I just can’t anymore. You know my love/hate* relationship with flowers. The great thing about this one is you can display it any which way you want - there are no rules - but it doesn’t matter anyway because no matter how you hang it, it will follow you and judge you, disdain and mockery dripping from its pretentious petals.

Approximately 5.25 x 8.25 inches gouache and oil pastel on handmade cotton paper
